Procurement Associate

Job Description:
Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency
Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts
Using quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management
Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
Conducting ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors
Work closely with engineering team, sharing knowledge, discussing ideas and helping the team to achieve cost savings targets
Develop strong and effective working relationships
Effectively communicate client information and insights to team
Ensure successful communication/works with all areas of the business
Requirements:
Education: Relevant tertiary education in business/marketing or related discipline
At least two years of experience working as Procurement Associate, although we welcome fresh graduates who have the ability to learn the ropes quickly
Sales Associate - Construction
Responsibilities
Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients
Create and implement a structured plan to achieve set targets
Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets set by management
Actively and successfully manage the sales process; lead generation; credentials pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
Prepare accreditation requirements
Develop new business relationships
Presents effective and professional presentations on TMC products and services
Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is kept current at all times in Hubspot
Develop, maintain and apply a high level of knowledge of TMC’s product portfolio of products and services
Report n sales, activity and performance as required by Sales & Marketing Manager
Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as TMC policies
Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with clients and industry associated meetings/events/seminars. Provide feedback to Sales & Marketing Manager
Qualifications
With at least 2 years of hands-on experience in sales of construction material products such as gensets/air compressors/commercial and industrial pumps and/or gencon construction projects (Required)
Preferred but not required: experience with CRM
